Finnieston Crane Abseil - Sunday 16th May 2010

Sign up to take part in our annual Giant Abseil Challenge.

The 2010 abseil will take place from the iconic Finnieston Crane in Glasgow and we're looking for individuals and teams who are brave enough to give it a go.

The 165 high crane is a landmark on the Glasgow skyline and it's an experience in itself just getting the opportunity to walk up the crane and get a glimpse of Scotland's shipbuilding history.

Once at the top, you'll need to pluck up the courage to climb over the fence, lean back then freefall abseil 'SAS style' all the way back down to Earth. The event is open to individuals and team entries from groups of colleagues/friends.

Download an entry form below, complete an online enquiry form or phone us on 0141 429 0294.

Funways

Try Funways to challenge yourself and help children & adults who face challenges every day of their lives due to deafblindness, sensory-impairment, physical or learning disabilities.

Sense Scotland was established by parents of deafbind children in the 1970s and is still run by family members. We now work with over 1000 children, adults and their families throughout Scotland.

By supporting Sense Scotland you will help to fund some of our key services, such as:

Working with disabled children at the family resource centre to develop individual communication methods with each child and their family.

Supporting people to live independently in their own homes and providing new opportunities for some very remarkable young people.

Giving disabled children the opportunity to go on a specialist outdoor activity holiday, greatly benefiting their personal development and allowing their families much-needed respite.

If you have any specific queries you can e-mail or phone us on 0141 429 0294.
