Team Rapids Challenge - Sun 29th Aug & 5th Sept 10

Could your workplace enter a team in our annual whitewater rafting challenge?

Team Rapids is a brilliant way for your company to support a charity this year. All you need is 6 people who're willing to raise a bit of cash and get a bit wet on the day!

No previous rafting experience is necessary, all equipment is provided on the day and each raft is guided by a qualified rafting professional.

You'll get the chance to raft the River Tummel and tackle some excellent grade 3/4 white water as you complete the run, building up points for your team along the way. Then it's 'paddle power' time on the flat down the Loch to the finishing point.

Following a quick change into some dry clothes, you can then enjoy a roll n' sausage and a hot cuppa while we announce the winning teams to see who'll take home the 'Team Rapids Champions' trophy.

Funways

Try Funways to challenge yourself and help children & adults who face challenges every day of their lives due to deafblindness, sensory-impairment, physical or learning disabilities.

Sense Scotland was established by parents of deafbind children in the 1970s and is still run by family members. We now work with over 1000 children, adults and their families throughout Scotland.

By supporting Sense Scotland you will help to fund some of our key services, such as:

Working with disabled children at the family resource centre to develop individual communication methods with each child and their family.

Supporting people to live independently in their own homes and providing new opportunities for some very remarkable young people.

Giving disabled children the opportunity to go on a specialist outdoor activity holiday, greatly benefiting their personal development and allowing their families much-needed respite.

If you have any specific queries you can e-mail or phone us on 0141 429 0294.
